- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in�subpart�12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HC101921R0006 is a request for proposal (RFP) for the engineering, design, furnishing, installing, and testing (EDFI&T) of a Giant Voice (GV) turn-key system upgrade at Kunsan AB, Korea. This will upgrade the current GV system and replace the existing Very High Frequency (VHF) communication infrastructure to use the existing Joint Japan Korea Land Mobile Radio (J2KLMR) secured Astro 25 network communication system, and provide real time sufficient intelligible voice coverage for the entire base populace. The resultant contract period of performance is anticipated to consist of a 12-month period.� This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB will not be considered. Submit written offers in accordance with CLIN structure outlined in the attached RFP. Oral offers will not be accepted. All responsible SDVOSB will be considered. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 334220 and Size Standard of 1,250 apply to this procurement. Questions may be submitted via e-mail to both the primary and secondary points of contact no later than 09 July 2020, 0900 Hawaii Standard time. Questions submitted after this date may not be answered. Proposals are due no later than 16 July 2020, 0900 Hawaii Standard Time. Written proposals must be sent via e-mail to both the primary and secondary points of contact.
