- Description
- This is a Sources Sought announcement for market research purposes in support of various projects at the Naval Air Station Sigonella, which includes direct digital controllers and connection of the controllers to the base-wide DDC system at the Naval Air Station.� The responses received to this sources sought will be used for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be used by the Navy to facilitate the decision making processes.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing this information or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes other than market research. Furthermore, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. � Respondents will not be notified of the results of the analysis. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to properly mark the information provided in response to this sources sought as corporate or proprietary information.� Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no debrief, evaluation letters, and/or results will be issued to the participants. � Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used to make appropriate future acquisition decisions. No telephone calls will be accepted. There is no proposal package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.�� � This sources sought is being issued as government market research to determine whether or not any offerors/contractors have the technical capability to provide direct digital controllers that utilize TREND software (IQSET, IPTool, IQ4 vCNC, IQLTool, TCLTool2, IQTool) for their configuration/programming. � The controllers will be required for projects requiring direct digital controls and connection to the Naval Air Station Sigonella TREND IQ Vision. The estimated total value of the controller equipment is $1,700,000 during the period of performance of June 2021 � June 2024. � Interested sources are invited to respond to this Sources Sought by completing Attachment 1 - Company Information and Attachment 2 - Technical Information. � Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis are due no later than Tuesday, August 3rd �2021 at 2:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).� The responses should be submitted electronically to the following emails: cherie.mitchell@eu.navy.mil and heather.dorer@eu.navy.mil.
