- Description
- Background The National Institute of Mental Health, Intramural Research Program plans to establish an archive for human brain data acquired with positron emission tomography (PET), as no such archive currently exists. This new archive will be called OpenNeuroPET and will be an extension of OpenNeuro, which is funded by NIMH but is currently limited to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. The proposed archive will follow the recommendations of international leaders in the PET field and be capable of communicating and synergizing with other datasets and imaging modalities. The OpenNeuro database has been developed to allow the sharing of a broad range of neuroimaging data, based on the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) standard for data organization. The goal of the OpenNeuroPET project is to develop an interface to the positron emission tomography (PET) datasets stored in the OpenNeuro database, and to provide researchers with additional resources to analyze those data. Purpose The National Institute of Mental Healths Molecular Imaging Branch is seeking a consultant who has extensive knowledge and expertise of the OpenNeuroPET database to further enhance the features and functions of the database. Project Requirements See Statement of Work (Attachment 1) for details.
