Description
Green River District/Vernal Field Office Fire Cache Building Remodel The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Green River District/Vernal Field Office intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to rehabilitate the second floor storage area of fire building #2. The work includes installing flooring, drop ceiling, electrical, IT/comm wiring, modifications to the fire sprinkler system, and painting. A partition wall on the first floor to manage access between a storage area and the proposed office area. IT/comm and electrical to a small room in the Fire Station main building. The Work will be implemented while the building is occupied during regular business hours. 1. The Contractor is responsible for making the necessary arrangements with the BLM Contracting Officer Representative Appointee (CORA) to coordinate scheduling of Work performance. 2. The Contractor is responsible for daily cleanup. 3. The Contractor is responsible for the Government�s and General Public safety during the Work performance period. 4. The Contractor is responsible for construction area security. 5. Contractor shall provide and furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, management, supervision, and any other items and services necessary to complete the Work. 6. This Scope of Work is not comprehensive and is to be considered supplemental information to information to be obtained during site visits. 7. All Work must be completed in compliance with manufacturers recommendations and all applicable Building Codes, Rules, Laws, and Regulations. 8. The Contractor is responsible for Engineering and verifying all quantities, measurements, and if applicable, providing and obtaining all permits and inspections. 9. The Contractor must provide all necessary relocation and installation of fire protection devices and make all necessary modifications. 10. At the Contractor expense, Contractor will be responsible for repairs to the Premises of any nature whatsoever and restoring same to its original condition for damages caused as a result of Contractor�s performance of the Alterations. 11. Government shall inspect completed work and provide written approval and acceptance of work. The work is located in Uintah County, UT. The contract period of performance is 90 days from issuance of the notice to proceed. A site visit will be held on August 03, 2021 at 11:00 am MT meet at Green River District Fire Building 430 East 100 South, Vernal, UT 84078 and attendance is highly encouraged. This project will be 100% set aside for small business vendors under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 � Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation. Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 140L5721Q0036, will be posted electronically at SAM.gov on or about July 22, 2021. Dates are subject to change. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall monitor the solicitation at the sites listed above. Interested parties shall periodically check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. No bid bond is required but a payment bond is required. To be considered eligible for award, vendors must be registered and have active profiles with completed representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov). There is NO fee to register for this site.
