Description

Notice of Intent to award as a sole source requirement for the provision of armored courier transport services, for the US Customs and Border Protection, to Brinks U.S. This proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The US Customs and Border Protection, Area Port of Los Angeles, CA, has a requirement for pick-up and delivery of financial instruments to designated locations within the Los Angeles, CA area, under armored courier transportation.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements of this nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any vendors who believe they can provide the services and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Cassandra McDuffey, Contract Specialist (CS), at cassandra.mcduffey@othergovagency.cbp.dhs.gov, by July 13, 2021. Information submitted should support the company's capability to perform the work required. The Government shall not be responsible for costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
