- ***MODIFICATION*** SOLICITATION AMENDMENT N0018921QG099 0001 The purpose of this RFQ Amendment N0018921QG099 0001 is to solicit the requirement � Unrestricted / Full and Open by removing clause FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set- Aside (Deviation 2020-O00008) (Oct 2020), as well as Extend the RFQ Offer Date and Time to Monday, 12 July 2021 at 1200 PM, local time. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Groton, CT Office intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price semi-annual maintenance contract for (3) Government�Owned (Mfg. CK Power) 1100kw Containerized Emergency Diesel Generators that provide emergency back-up power to moored submarines for Naval Submarine Support Facility aboard Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT 06349. The subject service will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required period of performance begins 01 October 2021 through 31 March 2027 from contract award. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 811219. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 28 June 2021 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.beta.SAM.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments directly to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web sites. Potential vendors shall submit solicitation N0018921QG099 and All applicable Amendments in accordance with the incorporated Instructions to Quoters and send via email attachment to sharon.dexter@navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
