Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source Purchase Order to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), located at 600 Hicks RD, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, 60008-1098, United States. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code i, 333316. As implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation., CAGE code: 26916, for installation of four (4) Electro Optical Third Generation (EO3) Engineering Development Model (EDM) cameras and camera electronics into four (4) non-Fleet EO3 Console IPAs to be determined by the government.� NGC is the original equipment manufacturer of the EO3 Console IPAs and, as such, only known source at this time�with the technical knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise necessary to install this equipment.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
