Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for Well No. 001 Maintenance-Repairs at�East Branch Dam located in Wilcox,�Elk County, PA. Features of the contract include: 1) Replacement of combination submersible groundwater well pump and motor 2) Pumping/bailing and televising of existing groundwater well (full depth of well) 3)�Pumping of backwash disposal system tanks 4) Replacement of filter greensand 5)�Replacement of filter support bed 6) Replacement of backwash pump and motor 7) Replacement of backwash air blower assembly, consisting of positive displaced air blower,�electric motor, v-belt and sheaves,� � � belt guard, silencer, check valve, pressure relief valve 8) Replacement of building interior pressure gages 9) Replacement of building interior thread piping 10) Replacement of building interior valves 11) Installation of roof access hatch to easy access groundwater well pump 12) All electrical modifications for the water treatment system The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment associated with the water system rehabilitation at East Branch Dam in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. The unit of issue (Job) as referred to in Contract Line Item Number�(CLIN) 0001 is the total price for all quantities multiplied by their respective unit prices listed in the Bid Schedule (Items 0001-0004). Bidders shall provide a unit price and a total price for all line items listed in the solicitation. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This project is being solicited as 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be 180�calendar days after the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� Please see attached documents on the project including the solicitation and the three�(3) additional attachments. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor on the https://sam.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing notification of any changes to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database PRIOR to the time of quotes are due. Registration is free at www.sam.gov.
