Description: The United States Air Force (USAF) has a sole source requirement to procure VIPER Kits from the only company that manufactures the equipment in order to enable ""hot pit"" refueling capabilities with NATO partner aircraft. This will be a new contract action for a firm fixed priced contract. Griswold Industries, doing business as ""Cla-Val"", is currently the only manufacturer of the VIPER Kit. Additionally, their equipment is the only model�approved for use on USAF aircraft. Until the USAF approves other manufacturers or part numbers, no other sources can meet the needs of the Government.�
