- Description
- The Regional Health Contracting Office � Central, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award, on a Limiting Competition sole-source basis, a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract to Midwest Laboratories for non-personal services Analytical Laboratory Service to provide metal/mineral analytical testing of seafood and animal feed/bedding by accredited identity for the DOD Food Analysis and Diagnostic Laboratory at Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The sole-source contract will have a Period of Performance from 01 October 2021 to 30 September 2022. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380, Testing Laboratories. The Small Business Administration's size standard is $16,500,00. The proposed contract action for which the Government intends to solicit from and award to one source is in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government intends to execute this award on or around 15 August 2021. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency for any future requirements.
