- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Resource Training Institute., 4141 Quinn Dr. Evans, Georgia 30809-4817. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The desired start period of performance is 08/9/21 and must be completed before 9/20/21 The contract will provide for Resource Training Institute, who has a specific training program for the management of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB�s) NAICS Code: 611519�Other Technical and Trade Schools (SBA Size Standard $16.5 Million) Product Service Code (PCS) � U006 Vocational Training CLIN 0001� PCB TRAINING FFP Polychlorinated biphenyls - PCB Training and Certification required to re-certify employees. Training requirement needed per attached PWS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, with a quote and capabilities by responding to this requirement no later than July 14, 2021 1 PM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than July 13, 2021 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with �RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR MANAGEMENT OF POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYLS (PCB�s) TRAINING� in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Officer, Remo Dela Cruz via Contract Specialist, Angela Charpia by email at angela.charpia@navy.mil�or directly to remodino.delacruz@navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
