- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE-SOURCE BASIS The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Division of Migratory Birds- Alaska (Service) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Lotek, Inc. located in Canada. The requirement is for PinPoint Solar Argos satellite transmitters to be used in tracking short-eared owls. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this action is 334220 � Radio and Television Broadcasting And Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency by 08/05/2021 to Melissa Henderson at melissa_henderson@fws.gov. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
