Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to award a single-source contract to Doron Precision Systems, Inc., 150 Corporate Dr. Binghamton, NY, 13904-3213; Cage: 56264, to provide the addition of the 3 DOF Motion System to our current Doron 550 Truckplus Simulator.� The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. � The statutory authority which permits single-source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). �This authority is supported by an approved Justification & Approval.� It is the Government�s intent to proceed with this single-source action. �The applicable NAICS code is 333318 with a size standard of 1000 employees. �The anticipated award date is dependent on funding. The 90th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a 3 DOF Motion System for an existing Doron 550 Truckplus Simulator. �Doron Precision Systems, Inc. provided and installed the existing simulator system currently in use and due to them having proprietary rights. Due to the warranty, they are the only vendor at this time that can work on this system.� � Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this contract.� The Government�s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.� The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.� In the event that the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS; No solicitation package will be issued. �All information received by the below stated time and date of this notice with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish bona fide capability (i.e. unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, the delivery period after contract award, the prompt payment discount terms, the F.O.B. Destination, the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size) to meet the requirement will be considered by the Government. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals/quotes.� All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.� All responses to this notice shall be submitted electronically by 10:00 AM Mountain Time, on 16 July 2021, to the Contract Specialist, Anthony Serrano at anthony.serrano.2@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, TSgt Chris Davalos at christopher.davalos@us.af.mil.
