Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Provide and Install an Parking Lot Fee Collection System at Lincoln Home National Historic Site, in Springfield, IL. Solicitation Number 140P6221Q0016. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: Providing and installing an automated gated parking and fee collecting system. All electrical and concrete pad work must be performed by the contractor. Electrical will be powered by an existing 200-amp Square D breaker panel located approximately 115 feet from the install location. Conduit and wiring for power and communications will have to be trenched to the install site by the contractor by either directional boring or trenching methods. If Contractor elects to saw cut and remove any pavements for the purposes of trenching or installation of ground loop vehicle detection, retore the pavement with concrete per Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Class PP-1 type concrete and installed per IDOT standard specifications. Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that would result in a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238210 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Total Small Business Set Aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.sam.gov on or about late-July 2021. Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P6221Q0016) and/or by the agency (National Park Service). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. Requirement documents will be available for download in one or a combination of, the following formats: Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Specifications and drawings will be available in Adobe PDF format. Free downloads of Adobe ""reader"" software are available at www.adobe.com. Potential quoters will be required to visit either website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. Please note that all solicitation documents, amendments, and associated attachments are available only from the sam.gov website. All responsible Small Business concerns may submit a quote that will be considered. All quoter's, are strongly encouraged to contact their local Small Business Administration office, to post their need for qualified subcontractors on SUB-Net (http://web.sba.gov/subnet) for potential subcontractors. It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled soon after the solicitation is issued.
