- Pre-Solicitation Notice General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Painting the Interior of the Ozark Bathhouse, Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs Arkansas. Solicitation Number 140P6221Q0014. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: Paint Interior of Ozark Bathhouse at Hot Springs National Park. Paint approximately 13,500 square feet of interior wall surface, more than 60 interior windows, more than 10 doors, handrailing, and approximately 6,500 square feet of ceiling surface in the Ozark Bathhouse. Minor repair work in preparation of painting surfaces is anticipated. Additionally, repair of approximately 200 square feet of plaster is anticipated. Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that would result in a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238320 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Total Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.sam.gov on or about late-July 2021. Search by referencing the solicitation number (140P6221Q0014) and/or by the agency (National Park Service). PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. Requirement documents will be available for download in one or a combination of, the following formats: Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF. Potential bidders will be required to visit either website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. No other notifications will be sent. It is anticipated that a pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled soon after the solicitation is issued.
