- Page 2 of 2 US Department of Veterans Affairs Request for Information/Sources Sought Brand Name or Equivalent Bucher+Suter Connects Adapter for Salesforce Subscriptions THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI), ONLY, issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.201(e), for the purpose of conducting market research. Accordingly, this RFI constitutes neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a promise to issue a RFP in the future, and it does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service described herein. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not, at this time, seeking proposals and therefore, will not accept, review or evaluate unsolicited proposals received in response hereto. Please be advised that the U.S. Government will not reimburse Respondents for any costs incurred in the preparation and/or submission of responses to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will solely be at the Respondent s expense. Companies are encouraged to respond if they have the capability and/or capacity to provide the items identified below. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary; however, any information received shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the Respondent. Interested parties are responsible for adequately and clearly marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Requirements: The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Brand Name or equivalent Bucher + Suter Connects Adapter for Salesforce Software as a Service (SaaS), which is a component of the VHA Clinical Contact Center Modernization (CCCM) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. It is an out-of-the-box add-on to Salesforce that provides integration between the Cisco Contact Center and Salesforce that allows VHA agents to handle multichannel interactions and manage their state within a gadget embedded in the Salesforce graphic user interface (GUI). The Bucher + Suter SaaS adapter is the only known solution that shall enable an out of the box integration between the Cisco Contact Center telephony system and Salesforce that allow agents to handle multichannel interactions and manage their state within a gadget embedded in the Salesforce GUI. If another proposed solution can complete these tasks as described herein, please provide a capability statement describing the solution and how it meets VA needs. Any proposed solution must integrate with the current VA CRM Solution allowing call data and metrics to be imported from the Cisco telephony system to Salesforce. This solution is a key component of VA s Clinical Contact Center Modernization (CCCM) initiative and allows VA to comply with VHA Directive 2007-033 for 24/7 access to medical advice. The Contractor shall provide brand name or equivalent Butcher+Suter Connects Adapter for Salesforce subscriptions and professional support services in the table below. Note: professional services will be provided virtually. The Contractor shall comply with FedRAMP requirements as mandated by Federal laws and policies, including making available any documentation, physical access, and logical access needed to support this requirement. Following guidance from the Federal CIO, VA will utilize existing DOJ ATO or agency ATO issued by another Government agency as a starting point for FedRAMP requirements. If neither of those exist, VA will sponsor FedRAMP ATO. VA will be using the FedRAMP baselines as a starting point, since they are specifically tailored for cloud services. The Contractor shall, where applicable, assist with the VA Authority to Operate (ATO) Process to help achieve agency authorization of the cloud service. The Contractor shall, where applicable, work with the VA team and Salesforce team to complete all required documentation changes and timely supply any information, evidence, or access as needed to meet VA security requirements. The Contractor shall afford VA information regarding the Contractor s and Cloud Service Provider s facilities, installations, technical capabilities, operations, documentation, records, and databases. If new or unanticipated threats or hazards are discovered by either VA or the Contractor, or if existing safeguards have ceased to function, the discoverer shall immediately bring the situation to the attention of the other party in accordance with the security appendix B. The Contractor shall not release any data without the consent of VA in writing. All requests for release must be submitted in writing to the COR/CO. The Government will not review any other information or attachments included, that are in excess of the 10-page limit. The Government will not review generic marketing materials that do not address the information contained herein or the attached documents.
