- DESCRIPTION OF WORK:� The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing Item 526-L, Levee Enlargement, in Washington County, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, semicompacted Mississippi River Levee (MRL) embankment, ramps, development and reclamation of a designated borrow source, removing and replacing existing gravel surfacing, crushed stone surfacing, turfing, erosion control matting, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. Plans and specifications will be available on the BetaSam Web Page at https:/ /betasam.gov. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List�(IVL) at https://sam.gov and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations ISSUE DATE ON OR ABOUT: 09�Jul�2021. BID OPENING DATE AND TIME ON OR ABOUT: 10�Aug, 2021@ 2:00 P.M. CST.
