- Page 3 of 3 Page 3 of 3 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to enter a sole source procurement for the purchase of a replacement body plethysmograph used for pulmonary function testing for the (688) Washington DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington DC 20422. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute), and under the authority of VAAR 819.7007, Sole Source Awards to a Service Disabled Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to: Company Name: TrillaMed Address: 30100 Telegraph Road, Suite 366, Bingham Farms, MI 48025 Phone: 866-341-5694 The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (334510) and the Business Size Standard is 1250 employees. It is the Government s belief that the hospital Operates 24 hours day and 7 days week. The items to be purchased consists of the Vyaire Vyntus BODY Diffusion System, accessories and training required to interface with the pre-existing system within the VA which are also manufactured by Vyaire. TrillaMed shall ensure all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to install and connect the Vyaire Vyntus body plethysmograph to the network. Contractor shall also provide user training to the Washington DC VAMC. The expected timeframe for delivery and installation is 30 days ARO and the estimated cost is $73,853.21. The estimated award date is on or before (07/16/2021). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 15:00hrs Eastern Time 07/13/2021. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in enough detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
