This update posts the slides presented, attendees list, and the questions receivedprior to the event with the Government's responses. The Government requests that all additional questions be submitted to Ms. CherylSpears at cheryl.l.spears4.civ@mail.mil and Mr. Bobby Verica at robert.j.verica2.civ@mail.mil by close of business30 October 2020. The subject line shall include the name of the company and SETA III Questions. The aggregated questions and responses will be posted to beta.SAM.gov. ******************************************************************************************************************* The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and Army Contracting Command Orlando (ACC-Orlando) will jointly host an Industry Day for the anticipated competition of the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) III contract. The intent of this Industry Day is to provide companies interested in proposing as a prime or subcontractor for this effort with (1) additional information specific to the solicitation and initial documentation (Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Labor Categories Definitions for industry review and comment; (2) additional information regarding the structure of the current contract and method of execution; and (3) general information on current support requirements. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this Industry Day will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST on 22 October 2020. All potential offerors interested in attending the SETA III Industry Day must follow the below link and RSVP through the e-invitation system. Each individual wanting to attend must complete their own RSVP to receive a link to the MS Teams event. The Government asks that each interested party limit the number of participants to 2 per company. This event will be limited to 200 attendees. The final day to RSVP for this event is 16 October 2020. E-Invitation Link: https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/anim.cfm?i=569460&k=07674B0D7D57 The Government requests that all questions be submitted to Ms. CherylSpears at cheryl.l.spears4.civ@mail.mil and Mr. Bobby Verica at robert.j.verica2.civ@mail.mil by close of business 15 October 2020 so they can be answered during this event. The subject line shall include the name of the company and SETA III Industry Day Questions. The aggregated questions and responses along with a list of attendees will be posted to beta.SAM.gov at the conclusion of the Industry day. This session will not be interactive so it is critical any questions be submitted prior to the event. Market Research is still on-going, but it is anticipated that the requirement will be 100 percent set-aside for small business. The Governments initial review of the submitted capability statements indicate that there is a reasonable expectation that two or more responsible small business concerns exist that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this program is 541330 with a small business size standard of $41.5 Million for this acquisition. The resultant contract will contain an organizational conflict of interest (OCI) clause that will limit the awardee and its subcontractors from participating in any other PEO STRI and ACC-Orlando contracts. Furthermore, Offerors will be requested to submit a mitigation plan that identifies all existing efforts with PEO STRI and the means the offeror will use to mitigate any OCI issues. The mitigation plan will be required for both the prime and its subcontractors. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No solicitation exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Please continue to monitor the beta.SAM.gov website for additional information.
