- The Lexington VA Medical Center, Troy Bowling Division, has a requirement for a contractor experienced in healthcare construction to provide construction services for Project # 596A4-19-102 Correct Various Mechanical System Deficiencies in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings. The work includes removing, replacing and adding new various mechanical HVAC system and associated electrical work/components throughout the Troy Bowling Division as described in the Specifications and Drawings.�� The project work will take place in a medical environment and the proposed contractor shall take into consideration infection control, demolition noise, environmental dust control, and specialized facility requirements as necessary in working in a medical/hospital centered setting. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is $39.5M. The estimate range of construction is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement will be procured by way of FAR Part 15, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process. The evaluation factors and sub-factors under consideration for this requirement will be available upon the solicitation release, which is anticipated to be on or about May 5, 2021. This requirement is a 100% percent set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C �8127 (d).� Only those SDVOSB�s listed and viewable in the Center for Verification & Evaluation (CVE) database located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ will be considered and eligible for award. The CVE database will be checked at the time of offer submission as well as prior to any award. All offers must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.� The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212.� In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to award any award being made. The Project number, Project Name and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement.
