- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22L, located at 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Long Beach, CA 90815 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The proposed period of performance shall be from July 22, 2021 through July 21, 2022. Total estimated value for the is $31,235.00 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 811219 . Product of Service Code for this requirement is J065 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment. The intended Contractor is Translogic Corporation located at 10825 E 47TH AVE, DENVER,CO 80239-2913 Phone: (800) 764-0300. This requirement will be for Equipment software & support, to enhance existing pharmacy automation hardware at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHS). The contract period shall be for one (1) year, with four (4) option years. Translogic (Swisslog) products are only authorized to be sold through their own company which as propriety rights for its equipment. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for 07/22/2021. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. STATEMENT OF WORK VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (605) Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 Desert Pacific 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357 Overview The VA Loma Linda Health Care System is seeking Translogic Corporation (SwissLog), to provide equipment software & support required for medication storage hardware in the Pharmacy Service. Objective To provide reliable, efficient & emergency equipment software & support, to enhance existing pharmacy automation hardware. Contract length: Base year, +4. SCOPE OF WORK 3.1 Supplier shall have trained, and accredited personnel perform the support & maintenance perform the support & maintenance required. 3.2 Supplier shall provide 24/7 remote diagnostic service via phone and VPN connection. 3.3 Supplier shall provide all necessary materials, labor, supervision, and management to coordinate delivery for VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. 3.4 Supplier shall provide monthly on-site preventive maintenance and services for the purpose of inspection and adjustment of all SwissLog box pickers. 3.5 Supplier shall provide corrective maintenance for failed wear-and-tear parts (FSS contract V797D 50470), within 4 hours of problem notification. 3.6 Supplier shall adhere to all established rates, for repairs & parts related to Pharmacy services misuse or abuse of equipment. 3.7 Supplier shall provide software updates to address reported bugs or malfunctions or interface issues. 3.8 Supplier shall provide software version upgrades of all pharmacy automation systems, available at least 1x/year, 3.8 Supplier shall provide prompt an accurate billing via Tungsten Invoice Payment Processing System. Operational Hours 4.1 Supplier shall provide 24/7/365 remote diagnostic service and corrective action. 4.2 The supplier is required to provide services on the following U.S. Government holidays, nor will the supplier be paid for services provided on these holidays.
