Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT.� The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Contracting Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground MD 21005 has a requirement to procure Roma Plastilina No.1 Green/Grey clay (Ballistic Testing Backing Material) for the Aberdeen Test Center, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. CLIN 0001: �Total delivery of 480 cases, delivered in 4 equal shipments of 120 cases per quarter The Government intends to award a firm-fixed priced sole source purchase order to Chavant, Inc, 5043 Industrial Road, Farmingdale, NJ 07727-3651.� Manufacturer, Chavant, Inc will provide to Aberdeen Test Center this clay.� The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339940 and the Business Size Standard is 750. All responses received within 7 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 1:00 PM EST, 19 July 2021.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
