Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A FIRM FIXED PRICE SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center�s (AvMC) Information Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Sirsi Corporation, 3300 North Ashton Boulevard, Lehi, Utah 84043 CAGE 0EXJ8 for the purchase of proprietary software (SirsiDynix Software) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source as follows: SirsiDynix Core is the basic platform application made up of modules that permit essential functions required of any library (Circulation, Configuration, Cataloging and Reporting);�Module not included with the SirsiDynix Core Platform allowing libraries to track book and subscription orders;�Module not included with the SirsiDynix Core Platform allowing libraries to track inventory.�� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 511210 and the Small Business size standard is $41.5 million based on the U.S. Small Business Administration, Table of Small Business Size Standards. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source Has Been Identified As Reasonably Available To Provide The Supplies That Will Satisfy The Agency Requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
