Description
This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24221B0048, Project Number 632-19-106 Renovate Pharmacy Spaces at Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768-2200. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSBs may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Scope of Work: This Project will renovate and expand the Pharmacy Spaces on the Third Floor (including Part of Unit 31) in Bldg. No. 200 at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for expansion and renovation of existing space located at the first floor of the main hospital building as required by the drawings and specifications. The contractor is to provide CETA certification for the spaces and equipment as stated on contract documents. Work includes abatement, demolition, general construction, alterations, equipment, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and fire alarm work; phased alterations to existing Pharmacy Service spaces (one located across from the main elevator Lobby and the other in Unit 31). There is also ancillary work in the Basement, light work on an existing shaft going from the basement to the Penthouse and work in the Penthouse as well as on the roof. Electrical Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical and fire alarm construction work on this project including phased removals of existing equipment and devices as indicated on the drawings; phased installation of new interior and site power and lighting; emergency generator, distribution boards and panels; fire alarm system, security system, nurse call system; new work at existing basement switchgear and generator room; electrical work required for new elevator, mechanical equipment and devices. Mechanical Work includes all labor, material, equipment, phased removals of existing mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems, piping, plumbing fixtures and devices on the third floor, as indicated on the contract drawings; phased installation of new air handling units associated ductwork, terminal units, reheat coils and controls; plumbing work as indicated on the drawings. All items as required by the contract drawings and specifications. This contract does not involve VA sensitive information and contractor personnel do not require access to VA systems. Information made available to the contractor or subcontractor by VA for the performance or administration of this contract or information developed by the contractor/subcontractor in performance or administration of the contract shall be used only for those purposes and shall not be used in any other way without the prior written agreement of VA. Project Completion: The contract duration is 455 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about September 30, 2021. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement. This presolicitation notice is not an invitation to submit a bid. If any SDVOSB is interested, submit your firms capability statement by the due date. End of Description.
