- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION �COMBO�: HELO DOOR STAND/RACK i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Solicitation FA487721QA266 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). iii. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05 effective 10 March 2021 , Defense Procurement Notice 20210224, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2019-1001 effective 1 October 2019 iv. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for fourteen (14) EA, Helo Door Stand/Racks, with the required dimensions: a. Portable, foldable/collapse aluminum helicopter seat and door stand. b. Compatible with UH-60. Able to hold at least one set of cockpit doors and 12 aircraft seats. c. Extended size approx 49"" L x 48"" W x 59 3/4"" H. d. Folded/collapsed to approx 49"" L x 12"" W x 38"" H AMC: 1 AMSC: 0 v. Items may be procured from any commercial source in accordance with the clauses and provisions of this solicitation. vi. The government will place an order with the offeror whose quote is the lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is defined and referred to within this solicitation document as the offeror�s proposed products shall meet specifications to meet the defined salient characteristics of the product or service. vii. The Government shall only consider quotes that are complete for ALL items. Partial order fills will not be acceptable. All items shall be brand name or equal. viii. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussion, but reserves the right to conduct discussions. Therefore, the offeror�s initial offer should contain the offeror�s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. ix.Attachments a.Provisions and Clausesx.
