Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER to and is not a request for competitive proposals.� The Department of Commerce/NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) intends to negotiate with and issue a sole source, firm-fixed price award to Aquatec�Group LTD., Basingstoke RG248FW UK, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with�FAR 13.106-1(b), and as authorized by FAR 6.303 and will incorporates clauses that are in effect through�Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06, effective date 07-12-2021.� The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $20.5M.� The anticipated award date is July 19, 2021. NEFSC Cooperative Research Program (CRP), Narragansett, Rhode Island has a requirement for maintenance, calibration, and repair services for government owned Aqualogger 530 wireless temperature depth probe devices, for 55 devices (base year plus two option years) in support of numerous NOAA NEFSC vessel missions. �The CRP�s mission is to collect accurate oceanographic data in rough conditions found in surveys and scientific commercial fisheries operations, for the purposes of maintaining data integrity throughout fisheries management operations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. It is for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest by providing a capability statement not later than July 19, 2021 at 11:00AM(EST). The capability statement must provide clear, concise and unambiguous evidence substantiating capabilities that would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.�� No solicitation package is available.
