- The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command, New Jersey (CCNJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) � Armaments Center, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract to Siemens Industry Software Inc, 5800 Granite Pkwy Ste 600, Plano, TX, 75024-6612 for the purchase of software and�necessary software support for the licensed software (Star-CCM+) and any additional support documentation that is applicable.�Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a�large business and is the sole developer and distributor of Star CCM+ Software. The Authority for this procurement comes under 10 USC 2304(c) (1) where no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this effort is 511210 and the small business sized standard is $41.5M. A Sole Source, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items was approved on 07 July 2021 and the redacted document is attached to this notice.� All questions/responses must be received NO LATER than 20�July�2021 in writing.
