Description
***AMENDMENT 0001 TO THE SOLICITATION�HAS BEEN ATTACHED*** The 188th Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal- to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the repair of roofing systems and repair/replace guttering and drainage for multiple buildings located at the 188th Wing in Fort Smith, AR (Sebastian County).� The contract duration will be 90 days after a Notice to Proceed is issued.� This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.� The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500.000.00.� The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14(b)(4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees."" The tentative date for the pre-bid conference/site visit is on-or-about 30 June 2021, 1000 a.m. CST, location will be in the solicitation.� Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements listed within the solicitation document.�� The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or-about 4 August 2021.� Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.� Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).� To register, you will need your DUNS number register.� Instructions for registering are on the web page and there is no fee to register.�� The solicitation and associated information will only be available from the Contracting Opportunities website on-line at https://www.sam.gov.� Contracting Oppurtunities is a web based tool designed to safeguard acqisition-related information for all Federal agencies.� Interested bidders/offerors must�register with Contract Opportunities before accessing the system. (Please note the registration for access to the secure site takes approximately 15 business days. PLAN ACCORDINGLY) Reference paragraph 4.7 of the Vendor Guide for instructions to obtain a MPIN to retrieve the specification and drawing documents. Contractors who do not already have a MPIN are advised that the normal processing is 7 to 12 business days to obtain a MPIN password that will give them access to the plans and specifications, which are located in the controlled access location on FBO. See video in vendor guide at 3.3 on advanced functions for other information. Bidders/offerors who have registered with Contract�Opportunities must access the data for this solicitation with their MPIN. Bidders/offerors cannot log into the Contract Opportunities home page and search for data.
