Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the�Bathroom Renovations, Full Port Refresh, and AHU Replacement�at the federal building in St. Albans, VT. The requirement is to modify an existing HVAC system to make the system more efficient and easier to maintain as well as bringing them up to current code. The project will also entail renovation of approx. 10,000 square feet of existing office space. The work involves removing multiple constant volume air handler units and replacing them with more modern air handler units utilizing VFD's and VAV's. The existing boilers and hydronic components will remain. Major reconfiguration of some existing ductwork will be required and the system will need to be integrated into the existing building automation system. As stated, the project also includes renovations of existing office space within the first and second floors of the building. There will be some hazardous material removal included as part of this project as well as the removal of an existing concrete storage vault. The renovation includes upgrades to existing restrooms, reconfigurations of offices, fire and life safety upgrades, electrical and data upgrades as well as flooring and ceiling upgrades. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code is�236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction,�with a size standard of $39.5 Million. The solicitation will be released on or about July 26, 2021, with a proposal due date on or about August 27, 2021. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for on or about August 5, 2021. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror�s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
