Description

The 177FW NJ ANG is issuing�an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the removal, replacement, and installation of 18 steel blast doors in the Munitions Storage Area of the 177FW. Contractor installation shall include the removal and disposal of the existing steel doors, Blast Engineering for the new doors, fabrication, delivery, and installation of the new doors. The project will be broken down as base (4 doors), Option 1 (6 doors), and Option 2-3 (4 doors each). The documentation associated with this project has been included in the attachment section.�� The contract duration is 300�days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000-$1,000,000. Additional information: 1. Please refer to attachment 03 (Instructions to Offerors)�included with the solicitation�for instructions about this IFB. This attachment has key information for pre-bid conference, request for information, and bid submission.� 2.� Pre-bid conference: 13 July 2021 @ 8:00 am local time. 2.1 Contractors shall register for the pre-bid conference IAW Attachment 3 Section_00100 rev01 dated 7 July 2021 3. Request for Information due by: 19 July 2021 @ 5:00 pm local time. 4.� Bid Opening: 30 July 2021 @ 1:00 pm local time. 5. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are required with this project.��� 6. The Government will not issue paper copies. 7.�Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14(e)(3) (DEVIATION 2020-O0008), LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING, which states �By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for General construction, it will not pay more than 85 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count toward the 85 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded�. 8.
