Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for a HVAC VT Services located at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Phoenix, Arizona. �The NAICS Code is 611210. �The contractor will provide the occupational training instruction at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Education Department located at 37900 N. 45th Ave Phoenix, Arizona 85086.� A session is defined as one hour.� The contractor will normally provide 4 (1) hour sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays.� Work hours will normally be between 7:30 through 4 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.� These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution.� The contractor shall not normally exceed 25 hours per week.� This will be an estimated total of 10,005 sessions per year (667 sessions * 15 inmates = 10,005).� Due to the nature of the correctional setting, delays in performance of work may be experienced.� Such delays may include but are not limited to inclement weather, electrical or mechanical problems, or other security matters.� When contract employees report to the institution but are unable to perform services due to such delays, the contractor will be paid for one session.� Normally, any remaining sessions for that day will be suspended and the contractor will be free to leave and the contractor will not be paid for the remaining unperformed sessions.� However, if the institution requests that the contractor remain at the institution for eventual performance, the contractor shall be paid for such sessions.� In the event of any absence, the contractor may make up his/her time so long as it does not exceed 30 hours in any given week.� If the contractor fails to provide coverage, the Government may seek contractual remedy.� The contractor will provide the following supplies, equipment, and curriculum materials: Textbooks, Study Guides, and Relevant Coursework materials.� The contractor will make recommendations to the Supervisor of Education pertaining to the selection and purchase of additional supplies and equipment.� The institution will provide the following supplies, equipment, and curriculum materials:� Certifications, Office Supplies, and other related materials.� Please see further details in the attached Statement of Work.� The base period of performance will be from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 with 4 (four) 12-month option years in consecutive order, if exercised, at the Government�s unilateral right.� A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. �Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. �All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. . The solicitation will be available on or about July 13, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website at https://sam.gov/. �All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.� The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 6, 2021. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Insert the clause FAR 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance, in solicitations that contain the provision at 52.204-7, and resulting contracts. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at https://sam.gov/.� Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611210 with a small business size standard of $22 million.
