- The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC), Quality Engineering & System Assurance (QE&SA) Directorate at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to determine the capability of businesses to provide 3 Digital Detector Arrays (DDA) to support the Radiography Laboratory. IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED, IT WILL BE SYNOPSIZED ON THE GOVERNMENT-WIDE POINT OF ENTRY (GPE). IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.� BACKGROUND: The Radiography Laboratory at Picatinny Arsenal requires 3 Digital Detector Arrays to serve as replacements for the aging panels currently in use.� The Varex 4343HE is going into a Varian 3MeV Linatron system, the Varex XRD 1621 is going into either a North Star Imaging (NSI) X5500 or X7500 systems and the Pacscan 2520 is going into a NSI X3000 system.� Only authorized resellers of the Varex flat panel detectors will be found acceptable by the United States Government. Requirements: The detectors will be the following: Varex XRD 4343 HE CT series DDA Active Imaging area: 16.8� x 16.8� 3072 x 3072 pixels 139-micron pixel pitch Carbon Fiber/Alum Window DRZ+ CT Imaging Grade Varex XRD 1621 AN14 ES CT series Digital Flat Panel detector 2048 x 2048 pixels 200-micron pixel pitch Alum Window (A) DRZ Standard scintillator (15) CT/Aerospace Imaging Grade 15 frames per second (Standard Version) Varex PaxScan Model #2520DX flat panel detector 25 cm x 20 cm ( 9.8� x 7.9�) Receptor Premium CT Imaging grade DRZ+ Scintillator 127 micron pixel pitch (1536 x 1920 pixel matrix) Dynamic range: 16 bit 12.5 fps (no binning) real time imaging; 30 fps (2x2 binning) Tungsten Shielded electronics to 225 kV The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334517 with a Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. The Product Service Code is 6635 � Physical Properties and Testing and Inspection. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Each potential source is requested to provide the contract number(s), dollar value(s) and brief description of work previously or currently being performed, which specifically demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully satisfy the requirements of the Technical Services. Firms shall also provide point of contact information, where available, for the efforts cited above.�All data should be sent at no cost to the US Government by 13 August 2021 to the US Army CCDC.
