Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is conducting market research for a requirement entitled: ""COTS Travel Trailers in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(i). This notice serves as a Request for Information (RFI) #70FB8021I00000007. Please review the RFI questions and provide responses before the deadline. Responses will only be used for market research purposes and will not be shared with other companies. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can provide travel trailers. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. FEMA has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. In addition, the Government will not provide commentary to industry on the responses received. FEMA released a Request for Proposals (RFP) 70FB8021R00000005 on SAM.gov on May 26th, 2021 that closed on June 9th, 2021. Was there anything in the RFP that prevented your company from proposing on FEMAs solicitation for travel trailers? Are there any things you would change in FEMAs technical requirements (See Statement of Work)? Do you have travel trailers available that would meet FEMAs requirements in the SOW? If so, how many trailers? What is the current state of the travel trailer industry? Are there any constraints FEMA should be aware of affecting our requirement? Does the cost of delivery of travel trailers to Selma, AL prevent you from submitting a proposal? Would FOB origin change your decision to provide travel trailers to FEMA? Does your company have a license to sell travel trailers issued by the state in which you do business? (please attach in your response) Does your company have written agreements with manufacturers to resell travel trailers? RFI Deadline: Responses shall be received via email by the Contracting Officer at Nilesh.Nayak@fema.dhs.gov by 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Wednesday July 21st, 2021.
