- This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The Contractor shall test, inspect, and evaluate all parts and associated elevator equipment for the Abiquiu Dam elevator. During this assessment, the contractor shall review the existing elevator and associated equipment in consideration for potential modernization, identify parts/equipment in need of repair and code compliance corrective actions.� In addition to the objectives, the contractor shall conduct a Category 5 Periodic Test as specified in ASME A17.1-2019.� In addition to yielding information for the final report, a copy of the Category 5 Test results (documents) and testing tags will be displayed in the elevator maintenance area as determined by the Abiquiu Project Manager. �This evaluation will provide the Government a snapshot of the current condition of the elevator and the repairs necessary to bring it up to standard.�� As part of this assessment, the contractor will indicate how well the Dam�s elevator equipment is being serviced and maintained.� This will require the contractor to review the Dam�s current elevator maintenance plan and prior service contracts while cross-referencing them with the elevator equipment�s current condition and performance.� Format for the evaluation report is Part 5 (Specific Tasks) of this Scope of Work.� After publishing their final report and receiving Government approval, the contractor will develop their RWP.� The RWP will detail the Government approved course of action regarding the repairs to be accomplished by the contractor.� The repairs are optional and are on a to be negotiated basis.� The contractor shall perform evaluation, diagnostic and repairs in accordance with current versions of ASME A17.1-2019/CSA B44:19 and ASME A17.3-2017.������
