Description

Pursuant to far subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the contracting officer at Eielson AFB intends to issue a sole source award to procure Sysmex XS-1000I Laboratory Hematology analyzer annual service for the existing Sysmex device. Due to warranty provisions and to avoid potential damage to the analyzer, only the XS-1000I Laboratory Hematology Analyzer from Sysmex are to be used. Sole source is based on proprietary reasons in that Sysmex is the sole proprietor of the device. Due to the proprietary nature of the device, only authorized distributors of Sysmex should provide parts and maintenance for the Sysmex XS-1000I Laboratory Hematology analyzer currently at Eielson AFB. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219, with the size standard of $22 million. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement which includes technical data and cost information in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the work. All responses and capability statements received by the due date of 16 July 2021, 1000 hours will be considered as pricing data for future procurements. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as affirmative response. A determination by the government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Capability statements shall be submitted via email only as Microsoft word or adobe pdf attachment to the following email address: daniel_elijah.pankratz.1@us.af.mil of capability statements. Faxing of capability statements will not be honored
