Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Grand Prairie, TX,� issues solicitation RFQP05002100002 for the provision of Preventative Maintenance/Generator Services. The services will be provided to maintain and repair existing equipment located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Worth, Texas. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four option years. The Contractor must provide all labor, material and supervision as required to perform monthly and annual preventive maintenance checks and load testing of diesel generators. This equipment will be located outside of� the institution's secure perimeter. The Contractor will perform Preventive Maintenance Services on a monthly� basis for the listed that will be provided in the solicitation. The contractor will schedule all site visits with the appointed BOP Contracting Officers Representative (COR) prior to the actual visit. All site visits made for conducting preventive maintenance will be performed between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday - Friday, (not to include Federal holidays). The contractor will comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes, permitting and license requirements. If an award results from a possible solicitation, then the performance will begin no later than seven (7) calendar days after contract award. The solicitation will be available on or about June 16, 2021�and will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 30, 2021 3:00 PM. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.Anticipated award date is August 13, 2021.�All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (March 2021) for Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The acquisition is restricted to women-owned small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $7.5 million.
