Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. General Services Administration, Public Building Services intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to R.S. Means C ompany, LLC.� for conducting two 1-day virtual training course Cost Estimating � From A Governmental Project Management Perspective.� The period of performance for first class is September 21, 2021 and second class is September 28, 2021. The determination not to compete and sole source this proposed contract is based on the fact this course Cost Estimating � From A Governmental Project Management Perspective training is in support of the R.S. Means software currently being used by Estimators and Project Managers. As the training is specific to the software and only R.S. Means, LLC provides the training.� This course was previously taught in 2020 to Project Management Division associates.� New associates and those who missed the training in 2020 need this training now.� The NAICS code is 611430 with a small business standard of $11M. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations and a written solicitation will not be issued.
