Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Hologic, Inc. a large business under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for�Mammography 3D machine with digital breast tomosynthesis capability�for the Radiologic Department at�Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas.
