- SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE Fire Door Assembly Deficiency Repairs This is a Sources Sought Notice; it is not a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Washington D.C VA Medical Center Service area is seeking sources to perform Fire Door Assembly Deficiency Repairs. The requirements are as follows: Provide all parts and labor to correct deficiencies and bring all fire door assemblies into compliance with current regulations found in the latest inspections preformed. Repairs and ratings shall be in accordance with the most recent edition of The National Fire Protection Association s (NFPA) standard NFPA 80: Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives, Chapter 5 Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance . The Following items are due to be replaced: Continuous Hinge-2 each Protection Plates-14 each Closers-71 each Coordinator-2 each Flush Bolts-5 each NGP Products-72 each Filler Plates-41 each Glazing Kits-19 each Fire Exit Devices-14 each Hinges-141 each Steel Doors-90 each Fire Door, Frame, and Fire Exit Labels- 119 each The anticipated date of a solicitation is July 27th, 2021, with an expected period of performance starting August 2nd, 2021 to August 1st, 2022, using NAICS CODE 561790, Other service to building and dwellings, size $ 8 million. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future proposed submissions and solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independently of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought Notice. Potential Sources shall provide their Capability Statement and it must be clear, concise, and complete. Interested contractors should respond to this notice via email to Willilam.Galletta@va.gov or Bradley.Davis3@va.gov using the subject Fire Door Assembly Deficiency Repairs by Tuesday, July 23rd, 2021 at 3:00 pm EST, and provide: DUNS number.
