- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of all Small Businesses, including 8(a), Hub Zone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339113. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking small business manufacturers or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: (Please note this is not a brand requirement). Manufacturer: ARJO Part # BAC1111-01 Quantity: 2 Carevo head raise shower trolleys; adjustable back support which can be electrically raised or lowered, side supports that can fold away to facilitate lateral transfers, electrically height-adjustable, Ergo-Access areas facilitates improved working posture, universal control panel, and weight limit 400 lbs. Manufacturer: ARJO Part # BLB2000-013 Quantity: 1 Carmina with Footrest and push Bariatric Shower Chair, which is: Bariatric shower commode chair with adjustable footrest and wide arm supports, push poles to maneuver the device, adjustable backrest, tidy up seat, and weight limit 705 lbs. Manufacturer: ARJO Part # HEB1000-01 Quantity: 1 Sara Flex w/Handles, w/Scale, sit to stand lift which is compatible with Arjo slings. The need is for a capacity to lift 440 pounds and the lift needs to include a scale. Power standing and raising aid, designed to promote mobility maintenance, and standing exercise for Veteran. Large handles allow Veteran to adjust their grip for comfort and security. Powered opening and closing of chassis. Active kneepad with individual leg support. Manufacturer: ARJO Part # LUS-CARENDOPROMO Quantity: 2 Carendo Hygiene Chair with adjustable height, reclinable, and capable of lifting 300L. Manufacturer: ARJO Part # KMCEUN-D Quantity: 1 Maxi Move w/Scale, Extra-Low Castors, Medium-Powered DPS, PASSIVE SLING LIFT which is compatible with Arjo slings with the following features: A built-in-scale, and handheld controls are needed. It should be able to transfer 500 Lbs. It needs to be able to lift off of the floor. It needs to come with a two-point hanger bar and a repositioning sling. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing).
