- Description
- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY related to providing Global Supply OCONUS Logistics Operations Support Solutions supporting customers in the CENTCOM AOR. This announcement is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Supplies and Services (GSS) Portfolio, Office of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Internal Acquisition Division (QSABB) is seeking information related to how interested contractors could provide Global Supply OCONUS Logistics Operations Solutions Support to better support its customers in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). GSA Global Supply is interested in establishing forward supply logistics solutions in Qatar. These solutions would cover Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) customers in Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia. The purpose of establishing forward supply logistics solutions in Qatar is to provide faster delivery for customers throughout CENTCOM. GSA Global Supply currently sources its products in and delivers from the Contiguous United States (CONUS) to its customers in CENTCOM. Under the current method, delivery averages 45-60 days after receipt of order. After implementation of the new sites discussed in this RFI, the intention is for items to be delivered within 3 business days after receipt of order to Qatar and within 5-10 business days to UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The contractor would be responsible for sourcing, stocking, and warehousing a list of National Stock Number (NSN) items, and to then make deliveries of these items within 3 business days within Qatar. The Qatar warehouse will also receive orders for UAE and Saudi Arabia. Deliveries to UAE and Saudi Arabia must be made within 5-10 business days. The contractor would also need to have the capability to increase stock on short notice in order to support contingency operations and other surge requirements. Attachment 1 has the list of potential NSNs if GSA issued a solicitation. See attached RFI and Attachment 1 for more detailed information.Questions are due by 10 AM Eastern on July 30, 2021 and responses are due by 10 AM Eastern on August 16, 2021, in accordance with the instructions included in the attached RFI.
