- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Information Technology Center (NITC) provides enterprise information systems necessary to support the command�s mission. As the command�s technology center, NITC is responsible for delivering the information systems necessary to support naval facilities worldwide. NITC is required to provide operational support 24x7 to this worldwide customer base. NAVFAC currently owns and maintains IBM Maximo Anywhere Work Manager to deliver instant mobile access to IBM Maximo applications, which are all an integral part of the NAVFAC CIO Enterprise Architecture. IBM Maximo Anywhere provides a number of mobile apps and capabilities to help increase NAVFAC Public Works efficiency. Users are able to conduct asset and location inspections on their mobile device and capture status or conditions at the point of observation. Additionally, inventory storeroom clerks are able to conduct storeroom counts with the physical count application, which allows users to capture current inventory levels for stock items requiring counting. Maximo Anywhere also adds administration apps that help simplify the startup and configuration tasks required for Maximo Anywhere deployments. This provides users with a much quicker enablement of the Maximo Anywhere applications to their user community. Even when remote workers are disconnected, the mobile workforce has the ability to complete tasks virtually anywhere with secure, trusted transactions. TRM Rules Manager is an integral component of Maximo. It used to allow the Government to customize and configure Maximo to meet the individual needs and requirements of each Facilities Engineering Command (FEC); to provide additional controls for security rights and information access; and to ensure confidentiality and integrity between and among each FEC. To meet NAVFAC�s MAXIMO requirements, NITC will renew TRM Anywhere Builder and TRM Rules Manager licenses and annual customer support. This acquisition will deliver the necessary capabilities with no disruption to operations, ensuring continued benefits and operational support. Total Resource Management (TRM) is the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) provider of the TRM Anywhere and RulesManager requirement. There are no third party vendors authorized by Total Resource Management Inc. who can sell Total Resource Management products and/or services. Total Resource Management Inc. (OEM) is the only source who can renew license requirements. Total Resource Management was confirmed as a sole source OEM.
