- Notice of Intent for Casualty Simulation Control Center The U.S. Secret Service is specifically intending to acquire a casualty Simulation Control Center. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and� other items and non-personal services necessary to perform installation of a Casualty Simulation Control Center as defined in this Statement of Work except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The contractor shall provide/accomplish the following: New or one-time used, ground level container 20�x8�x8�6� (10� office and 10� storage) Watertight and structurally sound Double locking rear doors New exterior prime and paint (color TBD) Construct and finish interior walls of office space using FRP sheets (light, neutral color) over OSB plywood mounted to 2�x4� studs on 16� centers.� Insulate walls with R-13 insulation. Install wall mounted, L-shaped, 24� desk across the front and down one side of the office. *� Install cable passthroughs and grommets through desk above each outlet. Supply and install one 5,000 BTU air conditioner in the front of the office section. Paint the floor of both sections with non-slip coating. Create door frame using 2�x3� steel tubing and mount 36� steel personnel door in the office side.� Door should be supplied with a non-locking knob and a cut-out (door and frame) for the addition of a deadbolt by the end user. Install one 35� x 47� window next to door on office side.� The window should be installed in a frame of 2�x2� square steel welded to the container and should not be equipped with security bars. * The office and storage sides of the container shall be divided by an insulated wall with no door.� The wall on the office side shall be covered with FRP sheets over OSB plywood and the wall on the storage side shall be covered with exterior grade, painted plywood (light, neutral color). Lighting in the office side shall consist of six 6� dimmable, recessed, low-profile, LED ceiling lights, 800 lumens, 5000K daylight white, evenly spaced in two rows and controlled by a dimmer switch located on the interior wall next to the door. Lighting in the storage side shall consist of one 4�, two-bulb LED light controlled by a switch located on the interior wall next to the right rear door. Outlets in the office area shall include three 120V 20A quad electrical outlets under the desk (one front and two on side) and one 120V outlet for the air conditioner (next to AC). Install one Square D 1-phase load center with 100A main breaker and sub breakers. Install passthrough elbow to allow for electrical hookup to panel by end user. Create a passthrough in the front wall above the desk by welding a 3� pipe through the container. *� This will be used to pass effects (smoke machine, lights, etc.) and A/V wiring to a control panel provided by the end user. Run coaxial cable from the desk area, above the ceiling, to the center wall of the storage area. *� Install passthrough with hookup for external TV monitor. * Install electrical outlet on exterior storage side wall, next to coaxial hookup, for external TV monitor. * Deliver and place the container in the location determined by the end user. The identified contractor, K&K International Inc., will provide the U.S. Secret Service, the following commercial supplies and service for a casualty Simulation Control Center. K and K International has recently provided a significantly larger project to the USSS RTC Uniformed Division Mission In-Service Training Program, although under a different contract.� The USSS Staff associated with the earlier project reported favorably regarding K and K International�s performance throughout the process as well as to the quality of their product. � � The expected work is to be delivered within 90 days after date of award. � Requested Information: Company/Contract Overview: A brief description of your company.
