PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR BATTLE CREEK ANGB, MBMV152270 REPAIR CHILLERS BASEWIDE Solicitation Number: W50S84-21-B-0016 Restrictions: Small Business NAICS: 238220 Size Standard: $16.5M Project Magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00 Title: Repair Chillers Basewide _Project: MBMV152270 Location: Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, MI 49037 (Calhoun County) �Period of Performance: 180 Calendar Days Issue Date: Tentatively 2�August 2021 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: Tentatively 12 August 2021, 11:00 am Closing Date: Tentatively 2 September�2021, 3:00 pm Award date: Tentatively 15 September 2021 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to replace the existing building chillers that are reaching end of life stages (~15 to 20+ years old) and replace with new, more energy efficient (equivalent capacity) chiller and cooling towers, as required.� Provide new Trane controls and programming. The Contractor shall remove the existing chiller and cooling tower(s), as required. Install new, more energy efficient chiller and cooling tower, as required.� Adjust hydronic piping, electrical connections, or any other connections, and natural gas piping, as necessary, as required for new system operations. Provide new Trane Controls and programming, as indicated on drawings. Existing supply and return grilles installed inside the building shall remain in use. -A building figure illustrating the general site layout and location of the work will be provided in fore coming solicitation. The place of performance is in Buildings 6900, 6905, 6911, 6925, 6930, 6954, 7010, 7020, and 7040. -The Contractor will need to provide a cost proposal based on the Scope of Work. -The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the project Scope of Work The projects magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information please see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 238220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S84-21-B-0016 information will be advertised electronically on or about 2�August 2021 at https://www.sam.gov/ with an anticipated award date of 15 September 2021. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available. This may take up to 3 weeks and requires a DUNS number, so it is highly recommended that interested parties register immediately in order to avoid any delays in award. No facsimile proposals will be considered. Contractors shall be fully qualified in all aspects of the requirements to be considered. The Government contemplates a basic contract period tentatively commencing on 30 September 2021 through 02 March 2022.
