- Description
- 1) This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement procure fisheries survey data gathered by USVs in Lake Superior that can be compared directly to data collected by the GLSC fleet. 2) The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0221Q0165 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The award of this requirement shall be made using the policies in the Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR Part 8, Required Sources of Supplies and Services and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as appropriate for this acquisition. A single award shall be made to the vendor whose proposal, conforming to this Solicitation, is determined to be most advantageous to the government, cost or price and other non-cost or non-price factors. 4) This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated NAICS Code is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. 5) Contractors must be active in SAM: https://sam.gov/content/entity-registration 6) A copy of this solicitation may be accessed by clicking ""Attachments/Links"". 7) All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes are contained in this solicitation and shall be adhered to. 8) Quote and all questions shall be submitted via email to Sean M. Jones, at smjones@usgs.gov. Questions relating to this Solicitation shall be presented by e-mail to smjones@usgs.gov not later than close of business 05:00 P.M. MST on July 23, 2021. Quotes shall be received in the contracting office no later than 5:00 P.M. MST on July 30, 2021. Quotes are required to be submitted electronically via email to smjones@usgs.gov. DO NOT mail your quote; only electronic quotes will be accepted. Ground Motion Models (GMM) Non-Ergodic Expert in accordance with attached statement of work (salient characteristics) and terms and conditions.
