Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement quantity thirteen (13) Mid-Range Tow Tractors (Part Number A/S32A-45). The Mid-Range Tow Tractors are a required piece of Support Equipment (SE) used to move aircraft such as the Marine Corps AH-1Z and UH-1Y. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Textron GSE, (CAGE: 4TVG2) was the selected company to supply the support equipment for the Mid-Range Tow Tractors for the AH-1Z and UH-1Y helicopters. This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-21-R-0129. The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
