Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this source sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses within registered under NAICS code 334516 Laser Systems, and equipment, ultrasonic Manufacturing PSC 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, small veteran owned, or service-disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 334516 and BRAND NAME not EQUAL TO. Consistent with Public Law 109-461 VA's Veterans First Contracting Program , first priority would be given to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns, should there be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside if the requirement goes to solicitation. If insufficient veteran owned and small business response is received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation, then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All information submitted in response to this Sources Sought notice become property of the Government. Product Description: Moses 2.0 pulse delivery technology, that improves energy transmission, resulting in more efficient lithotripsy and BPH treatments. Moses 2.0 s are used for the Lithotripsy; a treatment, typically using ultrasound shock waves, by which a kidney stone or other calculus is broken into small particles that can be passed out by the body. These laser fiber wires specifically used with the Moses lumines laser, must have to use the Moses lumines laser. Moses tailored premium fibers designed for optimal energy transmission and durability. Available in 200, 365 and 550 micron. MOSES 200 D/F/L the Smooth Tip fiber: designed for flexible ureteroscopy procedures. Enabling smooth initial fiber insertion through a deflected scope.
