- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution, Englewood, Colorado Contracting Office is seeking to hire a licensed contracting company�to provide the service of�Abatement/Demolition and Removal of one building in accordance with the attached statement of work. The Building is located at the rear gate of the facility. This is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562910 (size standard:(1) $22,000,000 (2) 750 employees). This package contains all necessary information for submitting a quote for evaluation.� Please note that a�site visit is scheduled for Thursday�July 15, 2021 at 9:00 a.m� - NCIC forms must be submitted by 2:00 p.m.�Tuesday�July 13, 2021 All work shall comply with Federal, State and local regulations.� Attachements�include: statement of work, letter to offerors, NCIC clearance form (for site visit) and� applicable service contract wage rates. Question: Is there an incumbent contractor?� No. These services are not currently being preformed.� Question: Can you send the asbestos survey for solicitation 15B40321Q00000032? Survey has been added to attachements.� Question: The documents that was provided indicated that the bidder must be licensed in the State of Colorado.� Does this mean the Prime must also be licensed in Colorado even though we have a licensed vendor in place to perform said services? The persons completing the work must be licensed, please note this is a service contract and service contract wage determinations are applicable. Question:�What are the sub- contracting limitations on this solicitation?�There are no sub-contracting limitations due to this�contract being below the�simplified acquisition threshold. � Question: Who will provide water access? The Government will allow access to the water needed for the project?� Queston:�What will be done about the temporary building that sits next to the building being demolished? The temporary building will be moved. Question:�What need to stay after demolition? Per the statement of work,everything is assumed as having asbestos present, so everything from the concrete slab up needs to be demoed and removed including the tiles and glue that is attached to the concrete slab. The concrete slab is to remain. Due to permit times the delivery required by/delivery date will be changed to 30-50 days after award.� Pictures have been attached
