- RED ROCK NCA POTABLE WATER PIPELINE - SNDO The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the replacement of existing pipeline at the Red Rock Visitors Center. The work includes removal and replacement of a 4-inch diameter PVC potable water pipeline that is approximately 2,000 feet in length and a 1.5-inch diameter PVC potable water pipeline. The project is located in Clark County, Nevada. Construction Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate DBA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation. The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about August 3, 2021. A site visit will be offered and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Full details regarding the Site Visit, including the location, date, time, and RSVP point of contact will be identified in the solicitation. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3921R0012, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction and the size standard is $39.5M (per the SBAs Table of Small Business Size Standards). In accordance with FAR 36.204 the Disclosure of the Magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about Tuesday August 3, 2021 as a Contract Opportunity at https://beta.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than Friday September 3, 2021. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring https://beta.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
