Description
This project is for the installation of a Tribally-owned water system improvement located on Port Madison Reservation in Kitsap County, WA.� Under this construction contract, the contractor will demolish decommissioned water treatment and storage facilities, decommission two disconnected water supply wells, demolish and salvage booster station equipment, and install one pressure control valve and one sampling station on the water main. ��� This project will provide water system improvements to and owned by the Suquamish Tribe. �Upon completion, the facilities will be transferred to the Suquamish Tribe. �The system will be operated by the Suquamish Tribe. ��� The contractor shall the water system improvements and shall include: Abandon two (2) water supply wells Demolish water treatment building and equipment Demolish 5,100-gallon redwood water storage tank Demolish/salvage booster station equipment Bypass booster station building Install one combination air vacuum valve Install one sampling station The system must be installed in accordance with the Washington Administrative Rules and by a State of Washington Licensed Installer.� The contractor shall coordinate a pre-cover final inspection with IHS and/or Tribal Representatives, provide an as built drawing showing location of all facilities installed.� Work is to be completed to a private home, under the jurisdiction of Warm Springs Tribe. The contractor must review site conditions, and report any concerns or discrepancies to the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) in writing prior to beginning construction. In accordance with the Design (Attachment 1 & Schedule B).�
